Vikid Truth and The Holy Grail

The Truth is an elusive concept. There had been many times in Vikid’s life when he thought he had found it — such is the confidence of young men. Like Indiana, he went on many adventures, only to find that the Holy Grail he sought served him sand, not everlasting life.

There are primarily three ways men have sought the Truth:

Religion (The way of the Heart)
Science (The way of the Mind)
Hedonism (The way of the Body)

He had spent such a long time searching for answers that at some point he figured out he’d forgotten the question.

The questions made no sense to him anymore. Each question presupposed what it was asking.

Where did we come from? Presupposes a bunch of things, an origin point, for one. And if we pointed to some location on the globe, or in a distant star cluster, what would it actually mean?

The Vikid Experience

Sometimes Vikid found it hard to write. Words are a medium and all mediums have their limitation. For example he could talk about redness but there was no red in the words. For the reader to understand what he was saying, they would have had to have the experience at least once before.

And what of Love?

God?

What of Multidimensionality?

Universes out side of this one?

And yet within it?

What of pure consciousness?

Uncluttered by thought.

Those things were hard to write about.

The Sermon of The Vikid Truth

Being rebellious came naturally to The Vikid Truth. It started when he was young, if anyone told him to do something that didn’t make sense, he had a tendency to either not do it or do the opposite.

And so it went for many years. And many mistakes were made, for Vikid hadn’t yet realized that he doesn’t know everything and on balance and by nature we, humans, usually believe in things that don’t make any sense at all.

The Many Faces of Vikid

Vikid had been writing profusely, weeks upon weeks, the words just flowed but finally was he running out of material?

He had spent a considerable amount of time learning about Near Death Experiences (NDE’s). It was a topic worth expressing and exploring but first he wanted to have a few words on God.

The night before was glorious 3-0 for his team at the World Cup. The beer tasted good and the mood was better. Everyone was laughing and having a blast.

Or so said Jean-Jacques Rousseau.

Vikid was on his favorite armchair, contemplating these words when The Trickster of Truth, also know as Tot appeared. He was a slippery creature, ever changing in shape. Sometimes animal, sometimes machine, at others just a voice from the dead.

“It is a well established fact that Art is subjective”, these were the thoughts running through Vikid’s mind when a friend online posted a photo with the caption:

Which made Vikid think about several events that had taken place in the last few years. It felt like a movie. British politics devolving to Comedy.

So I spotted this earlier today:

“TURKEY - Anything other than official State approved information, is now illegal.

People who spread “disinformation” will face a prison sentence 3 years. That sentence can be increased by half for owners of anonymous social media accounts.

Chameleons

I have been everything from a card carrying Communist (without the card) to an Anarcocapitalist (cards not included) and almost all the nuances in between. I have held such beliefs both strongly and weakly, sometimes with great enthusiasm and at others with out much care in the world.

I have lived as a pauper student, without money for food (I spent it on other pleasures!) and I have lived in the world of business, operating in economies ranging from advanced-structured to ones a little more laissez-faire, where rules & ethics are looked at more like nice-to-have accessories, than anything that needs to be followed. What’s more I have read a fair amount of history and academic analysis from a number of different points of view and motivations.

The Vikid Principles

The Vikid Principles is a book I wanted to write for several years but for one reason or the other the idea wouldn’t solidify over something substantial. That is until now. The mind is a machine that likes to over complicate everything and my mind has been on hyper-drive for several years now.

What I realized is that The Vikid Principles doesn’t need to be a book… but I’ve wanted to be ‘author’ for my entire adult life and that meant “writing a book”. I was forcing myself into an unnecessary position.

On Becoming a Hero

I’ve read two amazing books this year (Can’t Hurt Me and The Art of Resilience ) that have convinced me to attempt something heroic. Ah the dreams to become a hero, every child to have ever lived has had these dreams.

My first dreams were of Lord Krishna. A character you should explore no matter what your religion or belief system. He is a God like no other and The Bhagvat Gita a book like no other. The Mahabharata, so complex and deep, a vision of immense clarity. But by the age of 4 or 5 I had moved on to Superman. I donned on the famous red and blue leotard and zoomed all around my neighborhood. Delightful!

Opposite Thinking

I want you to consider a practice. A practice that can be done at any time and at any place, a practice that can actually be made so automatic that it is done subconsciously at the speed of thought itself.

It is the practice of Opposite Thinking. It will open new dimensions in your mind, it will literally make you feel godly amongst mortal humans, who go around forward thinking only. For if you think yourself a normal human, opposite thinking can make you a god and vice versa.
